Terms

Last updated September 18, 2026

These terms cover use of Binged at binged-ecru.vercel.app. Binged is an early TV-diary product. It is provided as-is, without a paid plan or uptime guarantee.

Accounts

You must provide an email, username, display name, and password to register. Authentication is handled by Auth.js (NextAuth v5) Credentials; passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes in PostgreSQL via Prisma. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Do not share credentials. Shared demo passwords from local development docs are not valid production logins.

Your content

Ratings, reviews, bios, profile pictures, and other content you submit are public on Binged so other people can follow your taste. You retain whatever rights you have in that content and grant Binged a license to host and display it as part of the service. Do not post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Catalog data

Show and episode names, overviews, and artwork may come from TMDB when an API key is configured, or from Binged’s own seed catalog. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Binged is not affiliated with the studios or networks that make the series listed.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break into other accounts, scrape in a way that harms the service, upload malware, or use Binged to send spam. Automated account creation intended to manipulate ratings may be removed.

No warranty

The service may change, lose data, or go offline. Ratings and reviews are opinions, not professional advice. To the extent allowed by law, Binged is provided without warranties of any kind.

Privacy

How we handle account and session data is described in the privacy page. That page is the accurate description of Auth.js sessions and Prisma/Postgres storage. Binged does not use Supabase.
